This past weekend was as wonderful as I had expected.

My church celebrated their 2 year anniversary. My friend's -Scott and Jamie- wedding went beautifully, and my husband and I had the privilege to play and sing at their ceremony.
Got to see my friends Chelsea, Chris and their beautiful baby boy, Ezekiel. They came from Maine, for the wedding and we were able to hang out and catch up.
I held baby Ezequiel every second I could.

Cutest. Little. Thing.

I'm starting to have baby fever... Oh. boy.

Twas a busy weekend filled with memories.

Wearing a beanie and jacket? Kudos to you Floridian peninsula, and your somewhat low-ish temperatures in the evenings. Bring more. We can take it.

A great weekend approaches:

1.Some of my friends are getting married on Friday, and I'm so excited for them. Wedding time!!!
2. I get to see old friends who left for Maine about 2 years ago, And are bringing their lovely baby, whom I finally get to meet.
3. My church, The Anchor Church, gets to celebrate their 2 year anniversary this Sunday 1.25.2015.!!!

It's been 2 years since we opened the Anchor church's doors and joined in to Make Christ known, commit to Godliness and serve the city.
And yes! we would love for you to come and celebrate with us at 11:00 am. (Click HERE for address)

P.s. There will be food! You know you can't say no to food. It's vital. ;)

I've only owned this jeans for a little over 3 months, and its the most worn item in my closet. No joke, just about everything goes with a black pair of jeans. Anyone?

So here's a funny story; My husband's birthday falls on Christmas eve, and this year I threw him a late surprise birthday party. Just a couple weeks after the holidays.

He was coming home from work, so I decided to tell him (just the two of us) that his friends were coming over; thus giving him time to get ready...  little did I know what this would stir up.

Well, for starters the freshly baked cake was eyeing him in the background and I, his wife, was dressed up in front of the door with a big smile on my face. Can you see where this is going?
I gathered my words on the spot, not clearly thinking on how I was delivering the 'We are celebrating your birthday after 2 weeks' message.
Instead, the following words came out of my mouth:

-"So about 2 weeks ago, an event happened...(big pause, big smile)... (Chris looking nervous)...

...ALL YOUR FRIENDS ARE COMING OVER TO CELEBRATE!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY PARTY!!"-

Chris started laughing hysterically, not just of happiness, but also of pure relief. Of course I come to find out he thought I was going to tell him that we were pregnant. Which please let me clarify, we are not, lol. Not yet.

But now I wish I had played him an april fools in January.

Welcome 2015!!!

Chris's and I New Year was so much fun. We danced the night away, saying goodbye to 2014 with our friends. It was definitely a night to remember.

It's official, Christmas has been put away. Every ornament and decoration has been packed, and the beautiful pine tree has left our tiny abode. Nostalgia took over, but I look forward to another Christmas in 11 months to do this all over again.

Last year I wore this outfit to an early thanksgiving dinner with family. It was one of the first cold days we had in November, so of course I was excited to wear a sweater.
Dear Florida, we need more days like that.

P.S. Happy 3 Kings Day!
