All About 'em Cows

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

tank: Urban Outfitters | jeans + bag + bandeau: Free People | boots: Anthropologie

This top is amazing. The end.
I fell in love with the graphic (all about 'em cows) | the shape | the side openings | the slight cropped style. What's not to love.

Last weekend, my friends and I traveled to Tampa, FL. Our band The Anchor Collective was invited to play at a venue up there, and we sure had a blast.
Now, this weekend it's time to hang out with my girls. Hubby has traveled to New Orleans with the guys to see the band As Cities Burn, and although it's only been a few hours since he left, I can't wait until he gets back.

The T-dress

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

tee dress: UO | boots + necklace: Anthropologie | bandeau top: FreePeople

If I thought I had a favorite dress in my closet, I thought wrong. This one is a new favorite. Easy to dress up or down + the beautiful gray fade gives it a nice touch, upping up the simplicity. And did I mention comfort?. I could sleep on this dress. But of course, I won't.

This Friday my friends and I drive up to Tampa FL, to play. That's right the Anchor Collective has a gig!
Looking forward to having a great time with my friends.

Sherlock Holmes meets Matrix

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

trench + shoes + necklace: Anthropologie | jeans: DSTLD | top: UO

When you want to wear a coat, but is summer [rainy day] in Florida. Sleeveless is the way to go.
I'm not going to lie, I felt like 'Sherlock Holmes meets Matrix' walking around on this piece, and loved it.

Lately my friend Alyssa and I, started reminiscing our old clothing styles. Among them the vintage days. We were into that whole 40's -50's -60's style, a few years back. Fit and flare dresses, peter pan collars; you name it.

It's funny to look back now, and see how much one's style has evolved. As of right now my style is a combination of boho, rocker, minimalist and classic. I love this combination and I feel it describes me the most. More than vintage ever did.

...But will I ever look back at this style phase with regret?... I wonder.

To write about last weekend, feels like it all happened yesterday...

July 4th, my husband and I, hung out with friends launching a bunch of fireworks (well, more like he launched fireworks / I stayed in the background, far away).
Sunday we went to a Mewithoutyou concert, which was superb. Also Chris ended up getting the Brother,Sister Vinyl he had been wanting ever since we got a record player.
All in all 'twas a fun weekend.

This week however has flown by. But I guess sitting here typing about last weekend's events, doesn't help either.

Happy Weekend!

P.S. Tunic tops like this one make me feel like a superhero.

Fireworks have already started since Thursday, and its times like this I'm glad I don't have a barking dog. Although it does not rule out a Frenchie or a Husky in the future. [Still trying to convince Chris on a Husky.]

This weekend Chris and I will be heading to a Mewithoutyou concert in Orlando, which means we will have to pay a visit to the ol' 4Rivers bbq, followed by some Vespr coffee. We will sure need all the caffeine if we plan on staying awake the whole night. Signature Latte come to me!

Happy almost 4th!

P.S. I know. Green... so not patriotic.
