Suede & Succulents

I have mentioned how much I love sales. But in all seriousness, who doesn't?

September of last year Free People released this amazing jacket, but I quickly disregarded it once I saw the $1,000 price tag. You would not believe me if I told you that this went down to $199 last month, plus a 30 percent off all sales promo. Also it was the last one in stock. I mean, how could I say no?!

The color, material, fringe, metal studs... this jacket is beautiful.

On another note this past weekend Chris and I headed to a plant farm, and it was succulent heaven. We bought a beautiful succulent arrangement that happens to look amazing against my black dining room wall.

Here is to taking care of it, in the hopes it survives my not so green thumb.

A Match Made in the 70's

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

jeans: Free People | boots: Seychelles | shirt: Madewell

I love the retro feel of the striped radio tee from Madewell, and pairing it with these boots was like a match made in the 70's.

Yesterday on our way home the hubs and I looked at each other with sad faces in realization that there was no more 11.23.63... If you don't understand what I'm talking about just go to Hulu and check out that mini series. It sure gave us all the feels.

Among other things we are currently enjoying is the band Overcoats. They don't have a lot of music, but I'm obsessed with the few songs I've heard on Spotify. Their voices remind me a bit of First Aid Kit meets Eisley. They have a super chill vibe. I'm all about it.

FP takes the gold

jeans + shirt + vest: Free Preople | boots: Seychelles | necklace: Premier Designs

I may or may not be obsessed with this weathered door...

So I had forgotten how much I loved wearing this leather vest. I got it on sale the first time I visited a Free People store ever, thanks to the hubs. Free People has such a rad edge to their clothes that perfectly describes my style. If I had to choose, Free People takes the gold... or my money. Ha!

P.S. I have snapchat:  lizetterosser -give a follow!
